The Walthers Cornerstone Modern Grain Head House with Silos is patterned after the most identifiable structure in many grain-handling complexes. Tall in stature, the cylindrical silos of grain elevators are landmarks along the railroad tracks – some folks even say their town is “XX elevators west of XX” to describe their location! On top, the head house contains the conveyor leg and internal piping to each silo. The Head House with Silos kit includes eight silos, a top head house structure, a truck dock with loading doors and rooftop vent details. It’s a great addition to any grain complex and is ideal for use with the Conveyor Leg kit (933-2936, sold separately) for loading covered hoppers, boxcars (for 1970s and earlier layouts) and trucks as well as other grain-handling structures and accessories.
